Job Summary: 

  • As a Technical System Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing software projects to determine the requirements of stakeholders, designing solutions that meet those requirements, and implementing them.

Our client is a leader in the Travel Services & Aviation industry in Larnaca and they are looking for an Information Security Governance Officer. The Information Security Governance Officer reports to the Senior Business Information Security Officer and Compliance. The main area of responsibility will be to support the organization's information security governance framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards. This role will assist in risk assessments, policy development, and monitoring compliance with information security practices. The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in information security and governance, demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow in this dynamic field.

Other areas of responsibility include: 

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the information security governance framework and related policies
  • Support the execution of risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security risks
  • Monitor compliance with information security policies, standards, and procedures across the organization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote awareness of information security policies and best practices
  • Assist in the preparation of reports on the status of information security initiatives, compliance, and incidents
  • Participate in information security training and awareness programs for staff members
  • Help coordinate and support audits related to information security governance
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in information security governance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Security or any other related field
  • Minimum 2-4 years of relevant work experience 
  • Knowledge of information security principles, frameworks (i.e. ISO 27001), and regulatory requirements (i.e. NIS and GDPR)
  • Familiarity with risk management concepts and practices
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and security-related tools is a plus
  • Relevant certifications exams passed (e.g., CISA, CISM, CRISC) will be considered an advantage

Working hours:

  • There is a flexible working policy that the person can cover an extra 30’ on the 4 days out of 5 and select one day to finish at 14:00 OR select up to two times a week to work from home. This is always in agreement with the Manager and the workload

Candidate profile:

  • Mid-level profile with 2/3 years of experience. Basically we are looking for a tester pretty strong on the automation (but with a knowledge in manual testing if necessary as the work load would be 70% AUT vs 30% MAN). 

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Design, implement and maintain automated test scripts and test automation frameworks; 
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve automation issues; 
  • Report the results of automated test; 
  • Perform manual validation tests on digital/web products; 
  • Document and follow up discovered bugs; 
  • Post deploy impact analysis; 
  • Collaborate with QA and software developers to develop solutions; 
  • Execute test plans, scripts and test cases manually or with test automation tools; 
  • Improve test processes or propose improvement where's applicable. 

Skills & Experience: 

  • Knowledge of Python programming language; 
  • Using test automation frameworks;
