Job Detail
Our client a pharmaceutical company are looking to recruit a Technical Operator for their operations in Nicosia.

TECHNICAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintenance and repair of the premises and all the laboratory equipment, such as: scales, tablet making press machines, batch counter machines, fan filter units and ventilation systems, water purification and sterilization systems and others, as well as commissioning and installation of those when required.
Coordination, monitoring and scheduling of the calibration and maintenance procedures.
Participation in the technical training of personnel.
Supervising and monitoring the activity of contracted and external maintainers.

HOURS OF WORK:
The days and hours of work are: Monday to Friday (5 days/ week), 08:00 to 16:00 (8 h / day, 40 h / week). A 30 minute break is included in the 8h of work.

EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZATION:
Due to the fact that the job takes place in a pharmaceutical laboratory, the Pharmaceutical services of Cyprus and the GMP regulations require that the candidate undergoes medical screening before employment
Good command of English is required;
Minimum 2 years of practical experience required in relevant sector;
University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or graduate from Technical College or School;
There are no health risks related to the working environment or nature of the job duties of the employee.

REMUNERATION AND BENEFITS:
The company provides for the employee any remuneration is provided for by the local legislation, including work leave days and social insurance.

The company also offers:
Net salary equal to 1240 euro per month x 12 months per year.
The employees’ performance evaluation takes place every 10 months and decisions regarding salary raises are made accordingly;
GMP training provided by the company;
Free training in stress management techniques (biofeedback);
Free consultation on self-care and self-medication from the MDs of the company.
