Our client, a Shipping Services Company in Limassol, is looking for a Network / Systems / Security Administrator. The Ideal candidate will have a wide variety of skills, a jack of all trades of sort. They will have a solid networking foundation as well as skills in both Windows and Linux. Cyber Security Experience and system level programing are major plus. In addition, they will assist in documentation and configuration of IT equipment for both backend upgrades, and certain advanced one/off client installs. The candidate will work with the SOC team, to ensure our security platform is in prime shape at any given time. This includes setup, maintenance, monitoring, and deployment of security infrastructure both inhouse and remotely. Advanced troubleshooting and follow-up as required. Occasional after hours and emergency support is required as needed. Other duties possible as required. Training will be provided for any satellite systems in use.
Maintain E-mail Services on various servers utilizing open source, paid and cloud solutions
Maintain Backup Infrastructure and ensure Daily / Monthly backups complete. Backups may include onsite/offsite/cloud as required.
Maintain Windows and Linux Systems on a Core System Level. Systems need to be routinely updated and secured based on company/industry standards
Familiar with wide assortment of open source technologies such as but not limited to (Mail, virtualization , monitoring , databases , hosting)
Assist with Disaster Recovery methodologies and exercises various scenarios regularly
Assist with routine upgrades on core systems, services, and applications
Assist with maintaining office equipment and support end-users within our offices
Assist with routine backend pretesting / system audits as required, to ensure infrastructure remains secure at the highest standard
Assist with developing and deploying highly available systems within our datacenters, to meet company / industry standard uptimes.
Assist with deploying backend monitoring, to achieve uptime requirements per SLA
Document core systems and processes as required
Provide after-hours and emergency support on core systems as required
Provide Level 3 support to our International Support Team as required
Various other duties as assigned
2-3 years’ experience in a systems and/or networking role
Hands-on experience highly desired
Windows Portfolio including both Servers and end-user devices (domain Controllers including Group Policy a plus!)
Linux Distros CentOS / Redhat
Vmware / PFSense Virtualization Portfolio
Storage appliances such as SAN and NAS Devices (FreeNAS / ZFS file systems a plus)
Cisco Portfolio (ISR Routers, ASA Firewalls a plus)
PBX solutions both via command line and via GUI (FreePBX, OpenSIPS, a plus)
Security related hardware/services (Firepower, Kali, OpenVAS experience a plus)
Cybersecurity Experience (Kali Distro)
Cloud Offering such as Azure and Amazon EC2
Database operations, such as MySQL/ mariadb
Ideally experience with Server Side Programing (Bash, PHP, Perl, Python, etc.)
The working hours are office hours (starting between 8 and 10 and finishing between 5 and 7, 40 hours per week)
