Our client, a renowned consultant specialists firm, is looking to hire an HR Assistant to provide comprehensive HR administration and support across all aspects of HR for their operations in Nicosia. The position is offered on a temporary basis with duration of 6 months.

Responsibilities:
Support the Cyprus HR Manager with any relevant Administrative tasks
Assist with recruitment process, schedule interviews, posting of ads, preparation of job specs for various roles
Populate and maintain AT (Applicant Tracking) system/HRIS
Assist with new starter inductions, printing materials, putting together onboarding guides
Collate employee information needed for payroll purposes and enrolment provisions
Prepare annual comparison analysis of current medical provider and any other benefits as requested
Assist with documentation relating to biannual performance appraisals for all employees
Ensure accurate electronic and paper-based personnel files are maintained
Perform employee file audits to ensure that all required employee documentation is collected and maintained
Be the backup for the Office Administrator when on annual and/or sick leave
Assist with the completion of all legislative documentation (unemployment forms, maternity, paternity leave, sick benefits fund and HRDA submission for training subsidy)
Populate and maintain the HRIS database for employees
Produce data and metrics, globally, from HRIS database, for reporting purposes
Ensure holiday / sickness / absence records for employees are recorded in the internal system and are kept up to date
Maintain knowledge of local health and safety standards applicable to local jurisdiction and alert HR of any measures that need implementing. Maintain local cascade list and all supporting documentation related to the health and safety procedures of the company
Respond to reference queries for current and previous employees
Maintain an awareness of HR best practice at all times
Assist and coordinate on various HR projects

Qualifications/Skills Required:
Proven work experience as an HR Assistant/Administrator or related position in the HR function
Excellent command of English & Greek language (verbal & written)
Discretion in working with sensitive and confidential information
Proficient in MS Office with ability to learn new HR software
High level organizational skills, detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
Proactive self-starter, excellent communication skills, proficient time management and ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines
Pleasant, professional demeanour and strong interpersonal skills
Attend company events & travel upon request

Working hours:
Monday to Friday standard office hours
