Our client a well established and respected Aviation Services company with offices based in Larnaca has over 30 years of experience within the European, North American and Middle Eastern markets specialising in Business Aircraft Maintenance & Technical Services.
Due to their expansion they are looking to hire an Aviation Technical Coordinator Scheduler to be based at their offices in Larnaca.
The ideal candidate will have:
At least 10 year experience in aviation industry (repair station)
Previous aircraft maintenance repair station supervisory position
Read and understand aircraft maintenance library
Knowledge of aircraft technical systems
Previous hands-on mechanical, avionic experience will be an advantage
Ability to coordinate and assist a team of engineers
Precise and attention to details
Inter-personal and excellent communication skills
Organizational & planning
Ability to work with Part 145 MOE and EASA Part 66 regulations
Excellent verbal and written English
The position will be responsible for:
Report to Fast Ops Supervisor
Receive and analyze request for support
Verify eligibility: review capacity, skills, expertise, tiredness and location of engineers at disposal
Contact potential engineers, explain support and discuss any specific concern
Verify labor force required to accomplish the support and if double-inspection is required
Communicate with the engineer supporting the aircraft in regards to the relevant authority and if assistance is required
Follow-up support preparation and operation
Stay abreast of completion of initial and supplemental Work Authorization by customers and if customer is classified Cash In Advance (CIA) with payment required prior to RTS. Keep engineers advised through the system on OneDrive and SMS according to the policy.
If engineer is unable to prepare a support:
Dispatch preparation to another engineer qualified on similar type
Contact customer and advise traveling and supporting plans
Coordinate airport access
Coordinate airline ticket if required
For simple supports, consult manuals and prepare.
Provide quotation for support
Following part initial order from engineer, carry-on order on internal system and tooling + coordination between buyer and engineer.
Continuously update Assignment List
Assist with communication when required throughout the jobs
Coordinate RFA if required
Upon completion of support, review work order and all associated documentation in accordance with MOE. Follow-up until satisfactorily correction of work orders.
Ensure Return Tools/ Parts Shipping documents are in the system
Keep track of return shipments and request update from shipper during 7 days.
Complete and keep updated a database of handling agent with shipping addresses.
Send daily Availability Status update every morning and evening
Help coordinating regular airport access by providing company letters if required.
