In this role you will be responsible to administer the operations of computer systems related to UNIX & Windows operating systems, servers, virtualization and Cloud technologies.
You will be part of the company’s division that provides consultative design, development, testing and deployment services for enterprises applications and consumer experiences solutions
Responsible to build and maintain the web, virtual, and client server environments for the enterpris
Troubleshoot and resolve any IT service issues related to operating systems and servers; partner with the other infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve related issues
Work closely with DevOps engineers and extensive work on the automation tools, configuration management and continuous integration tools
Work on system integration projects, large-scale migration projects like migrating to public/private cloud platforms, with the primary role of installing, configuring, and patching software and services
Build and implement software standards for operating systems, servers and virtualized infrastructure
Evaluate new technologies to meet business needs or to solve business problems by learning and adapting new methodologies, processes and tools
Work on cloud provisioning tools and platforms like AWS, GCP or Azure
Work within a team that is highly motivated, feel the pride, value quality and collaborate with a focus on success as a team and not the individual
Add value through participation in peer code reviews, provide comments and suggestions, work with cross functional teams to achieve goals
Actively look for innovation and continuous improvement, efficiency in all assigned tasks.
B.A/B.Sc. in computer science / Electronics / IT
Basic understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience with using Linux (or Unix)
Familiarity with agile development methodologies
Familiarity with installing, configuring, and patching software and services by hand
Familiarity with operations on IaaS platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure (advantage)
Familiarity with continuous integration (CI) tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Nexus, or Artifactory (advantage)
