Job Detail
Our client, an international Commercial Bank based in Limassol, is looking to recruit a knowledgeable Lawyer with at least 4 to 5 years experience in the Banking sector and in Compliance issues.

In charge of drafting contracts, loan agreements and any other legal documents required
Acting as the liaison officer with the Bank’s legal advisors (with which the Bank has a contract)
Dealing with any legal issues relating to the banking sector
Having experience in the documentation and procedures required for account opening, to supervise the presentation of documents for account opening and complete the customers’ legal file accordingly
To follow-up all Central Bank of Cyprus Directives to ensure that the Bank is legally covered from all ends
To review annually the customers’ legal files, collect missing documents and prepare the relevant reports in line with our internal AML procedures
To prepare any other legal documentation on behalf of the Bank

EU-citizenship or valid work permit
At least 6 months of working experience in the banking sector
Law graduate
Fluent in both English and Greek (written and oral)

Working hours:
Monday to Friday from 08.30 – 1.30 and from 15.00 – 17.30

The company is offering a salary of € 15,000 to 20,000 Euros per annum, medical insurance, life insurance, provident fund and annual bonus (one or 2 month salary, based on performance) and transport allowance.
