In this role you will be responsible for design, develop, modify, debug and/or maintain software systems and for one or more specific modules within a large software system scope.
You will be part of the Company’s division that provides consultative design, development, testing and deployment services for enterprises applications and consumer experiences solutions, system integration projects, large-scale migration projects like migrating to public/private cloud platforms
Work as DevOps engineer, with extensive work on the automation tools, configuration management and continuous integration tools
Follow Agile software engineering standards and release processes
Investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code, provides fixes and workarounds, and reviews changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions
Build and implement software standards for operating systems, servers and virtualized infrastructure
Work on cloud provisioning tools and platforms like AWS, GCP or Azure
Work within a team that is highly motivated, feel the pride, value quality and collaborate with focus on success as team and not individual
Add value through participation in peer code reviews, provide comments and suggestions, work with cross functional teams to achieve goals
Actively look for innovation and continuous improvement, efficiency in all assigned tasks.
Bachelor’s degree in Science/IT/Computing or equivalent
Willingness to work as DevOps engineer
Familiarity with agile development methodologies
Familiarity with installing, configuring, and patching software and services by hand
Familiarity with operations on IaaS platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure – advantage
Experience Compiling and building software with tools such as Make, Maven, Gradle, Grunt, or Gulp
Comfortable with Bash and the command line (for example, running cURL commands)
Familiarity with automation, configuration management, and cloud provisioning tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or Terraform (advantage)
Familiarity with continuous integration (CI) tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Nexus, or Artifactory (advantage)
