Our client is a Cysec Regulated Broker with offices in Cyprus, Bulgaria, China, the Czech Republic and Germany.

Due to expansion they are looking to recruit a experienced individual in the role of Head of Brokerage to be based in Varna Bulgaria or in Limassol however the successful candidate will need to travel extensively to the office in Varna where the team of brokerage specialists are situated.

Reports to: Chief Trading System Officer (CTSO)
Working Hours: 09:00 – 18:00 (Monday to Friday) incl. 1-hour lunch break. Overtime may be required. Commencement Period: As soon as possible or in 1-month time

This is a unique opportunity to oversee the day to day work of our Brokerage Operations team to ensure strong service experience for our advisors and broker dealers.

As a Head of the Brokerage department, you will manage a team of brokerage specialists, while mentoring them and demonstrating strong leadership skills.
This includes collaborating closely with all cross-functional departments as well as external providers (such as liquidity providers) to ensure timely and accurate completion of team duties on a daily, monthly, quarterly basis.

The Brokerage is a front-line and business critical department of utmost importance. Its main purpose is to make sure that the trading platforms are fully operational and that the client is offering is up-to-date at all times.
The Head of Brokerage main function is to review work for accuracy and oversee the flawless execution of client orders.
This involves ongoing monitoring on the price quality and ensuring ultrafast execution by our various sources of liquidity (banks, funds, MTFs, etc.).
Holding such a mission-critical job, you will have to deal with fast-changing conditions specific for this industry and transactions worth up to millions.
This will require remaining calm while making tough, but sound decisions under pressure.
We are seeking to hire an individual with significant team management experience and solid understanding of the financial services industry.

Organizing the workflow and setting priorities
Ongoing communication with the Company’s partners, liquidity and software providers
Ensuring a robust and sustainable trading conditions are met and in place at all times
Supervising the reporting provided by the team and designed for regulatory bodies and as well as for internal purposes
First point of contact in the event of any attempt to access the data base by third parties, failure of technical equipment or in the event of incorrect data input

Excellent command of English (both written and spoken)
5-10 years industry experience, part of which in a managerial capacity
CySec certificate or in a process of acquiring such
In-depth knowledge of the Financial Services Industry, operational processes, regulatory policies and compliance procedures
Experience with Meta Trader 4 and 5 servers, Administrator and Manager, bridge software, plugins and add-ons

Trading experience:
Superior influence leadership and organizational skills including engagement, morale, training and process improvement
Solid analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex and problematic situations
Must stay current with financial developments in foreign economies that affect clients and the organization
