Job Detail
A global firm with offices in Nicosia is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper for their expanding team. In return, our client offers a rewarding and positive working environment as well as the potential for career development.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Issue invoices to customers, reconcile incoming payments and prepare weekly collection reports
Purchase orders – initiate purchase orders, monitor approval status and provide the supplier with a copy of the signed purchase order
Suppliers record A/P invoices and reconcile to existing purchase order
Prepare payments suggestion form, initiate payment approval cycle and execute accordingly
Reconcile outgoing payments, bank accounts, foreign currency exchange differences and intercompany accounts
Prepare, Reconcile and book monthly payroll
Prepare statutory forms and reports
Prepare periodic reports according to corporate guidelines and terms

Key Skills/Experience:
Ideally educated to degree level in Accounting/Finance or related field
2-3 years experience as a bookkeeper is essential
Experience with SAP software will be considered a significant advantage
Experience with payroll calculation/processing and have proper knowledge of the law. (Will do payroll for 100 employees)
Fluency in English and Greek is essential
PC Literate (Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc…)
Accurate with close attention to detail
